Beginner Yoga
An introduction to yoga focusing on breathing techniques and correct alignment. This class is designed to give you the foundation needed to help support you without worry as you move into a regular yoga flow setting. All levels are welcome.
When: Saturdays
Time: 9:30 am - 10:30 am

Indoor Pickleball
Get your friends together and come out to try your hand at Pickleball. Pickleball combines tennis, badminton and ping pong for a fun game. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball sized ball and composite paddles.
The game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. The courts are a first come first serve basis and cannot be reserved during open Pickleball timeframes.
When: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday
Time: 10:30 am-12:30 pm.
Cost: $7 walk-in (Silver Sneakers, Renew Active, and Silver & Fit accepted)
Mah Jongg Instruction
Mah Jongg is an intricate game which originated in China and has been played in the United States for 85 years. It is played with beautiful Chinese tiles and follows a card with equations on how to win the game. It is played with four players, without partners, unlike bridge. Each player singly competes to win. Your teacher is Darrell Ann Murphy. She has been a professional Mah Jongg teacher for twenty years. Learning this wonderful game would be a commitment of weekly classes for 12 weeks. Darrell teaches with patience and lots of humor. Once learned this game is not only great “brain food” but an ongoing joy for life. You will be joining many people who are happy lifetime players.
12- Week Session

Mah Jongg Intermediate
This class will be for people who have some knowledge of the game. As these players may know, Mah Jongg is an intricate game which takes time to perfect. This intermediate class will focus on more of the nuances and strategies involved in order to be a winner. You will learn how to play more quickly and efficiently which provides more time to play more games. Come and learn how you can become an “Ace” Mah Jongg player.

Old Timers Basketball (Ages 55+)
Join other like minded individual this Fall/Winter for some pick-up basketball.

Pickleball Lessons
Join the craze and find out what pickleball is all about! Learn the rules, regulation, and how to play from a certified instructor.
Lessons include an hour of instruction followed by a hour of structured game play. Equipment is encouraged, but not necessary.
Sign up by yourself or learn with a friend.
Pickleball is a great activity to stay active, socialize, and fulfil the need for healthy competition. Lessons will be held indoors in the Forks Community Center. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Silver Sneakers Classic
Classic is a low-impact training suitable for all fitness levels. This workout includes fall prevention drills and exercises to improve strength and endurance. A chair and handheld weights or tubing are recommended. Classes will last approximately 45-minutes. All classes are taught by a certified instructor.
When: Wednesdays & Fridays
Time: 10:30 am-11:15 am.
Cost: Free for silver sneaker members, $10 walk-in if not a member.
Silver Sneakers Yoga
Relieve stress with seated and standing poses to improve balance and flexibility. This class is great for the beginner to intermediate levels. Different poses can be adjusted to keep you safe and challenged.
Classes will last approximately 45-minutes. All classes are taught by a certified instructor.

Time: 10:30 am-11:15 am.
Cost: Free for silver sneaker members, $10 walk-in if not a member.
Walk & Talk
Each Monday through October, we will take a leisurely walk around Forks Township Community Park. The walking path is approximately 1 mile & will take approximately 15-20minutes. Come get moving & socialize with others! All ages welcome. Ends October 30.

Yoga Flow
In this class we will link breath to mind-full movement in a flowing sequence of seated, standing and balancing postures building heat, strength and flexibility.
Instructors' teaching style leans heavily toward Iyengar style yoga more than other styles. Iyengar practice focuses on the pranayama: linking movement to breath along with utilizing props for an all levels experience. Instructors use bolsters, blankets, yoga straps and blocks to achieve the full experience of the poses while minimizing the risk of injury.
Please bring a yoga mat, a towel, and a water bottle.

Zumba Gold
Zumba Gold is a fitness program designed especially for the active older adult, the beginner participant, and other special populations that may need modifications for success. Latino inspired Dance Exercise.
Dress in comfortable work-out clothes, sneakers, bring a bottle of water and prepare to have fun Zumba style!
When: Monday & Wednesday
Time: 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm.
