Curbside Christmas Tree pick-up will begin January 3, 2023 and end January 31, 2023.
Place your tree at the curbside before the last pick-up date or you will be responsible for disposing of the tree. Trees may be taken to the recycling center located at 1051 Frost Hollow Road during hours of operation.
- Tuesday and Wednesday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
- Saturday 8 am to 1 pm.
There will not be a drop off location at the Municipal Building.
Forks Township offers the residents a leaf collection service. We will get around to everyone, so we ask for your patience during the process, as there could be a reason (equipment breakdown or township emergency) for a delay getting to your location.
Schedule
The Annual Leaf Collection Program is slated to begin the week of October 16, 2023 and conclude the beginning of December depending on weather.
Leaf collection throughout the Township will be done through Districts and designated pickup days. Leaves should be placed curbside by 7 am in accordance with your pickup district and scheduled pickup date:

Regulations
All Township residents are required to abide by the following regulations governing leaf collections:
- Residents are asked to either pile or windrow their leaves along the curb line or edge of the street. It is important that only leaves are put out for collection as we use machines that run on vacuum.
- Make sure there are no branches, rocks, or debris in the piles. If we see this type of foreign material in the pile, we will not pick it up.
- Objects, such as branches or shrubbery, will cause the suction tube to clog and in some cases may reach the machine's impeller and may result in expensive repairs and down time.
- If there is an inlet/catch basin in front of your house please try to keep the top of the grate free of debris.
More Information
For questions, call 610-438-2670 or email Mark Roberts.
We will begin to remove all anti-skid material and accumulated dirt and debris as soon as the winter weather breaks. For the street sweeper to do an efficient job we ask that residents not sweep the material into piles.
On their scheduled garbage collection day we ask that they set their garbage cans in the driveway or off the roadway so that the street sweeper can collect the material to the curb line unobstructed. The route will be one that is continuous and will address every Township Street so I ask the residents to please be patient.
If you would like an update as to where the street sweeper will be working, you can call 610-438-2670.
The Township will accept tree trimmings from Township residents during the normal hours of operation located at 1051 Frost Hollow Road. The trimmings must be no more than four foot in length and no more than 12 inches in diameter.
The Forks Township Public Works Department will trim the trees along Township streets as part of our program to maintain adequate overhead and curb side clearance and to avoid damage to Township trucks, equipment, School Buses and other motor vehicles.
The required height clearance above the street surface is 14 feet.
The curbside or edge of the roadway will be trimmed back six inches from inside of curb. We will do so to meet this requirement in compliance to our code found in the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, Section 175-56.
